Toronto Condo Bathroom Renovation: A Spa Retreat In The City

As part of the Toronto Entertainment District, this compact condo bathroom was anything but serene. Limited in square footage but full of potential, the space needed a complete reset — one that would favour calm, clarity, and long-term function. Inspired by the client’s love of clean lines and simplicity, our redesign leaned into natural textures and simplicity.

Design Challenge: Like many Toronto condo bathrooms, this one came with a laundry list of limitations: cramped layout, no natural light, previous DIY renovations, and a vanity that sacrificed both style and storage. The client wanted more than just an aesthetic update — she wanted a space that felt like a retreat from the urban noise just outside her window.

Design Solution: We reimagined the layout to prioritize visual calm and efficient storage. A custom two-tone vanity grounds the space while keeping the floor line clear, making the room feel larger. The dark floor tile grounds the space. The LVT backsplash wall was an unexpected touch. Integrated lighting, a shower niche, and the textural contrast between wood, stone, and metal created a curated space. The result? A small Toronto bathroom that lives large — clean, calm, and unmistakably hers.
